Welcome to
Capitol Quarter Midget Association
Rio Linda, CA.

Racing for kids 5 to 16 years old.

Hidden from view behind Rio Linda High School in a grove of shade trees is one of the oldest and possibly the finest dirt quarter midget race tracks in the country.

Roy Hayer Memorial Race Track, name for the property owner and longtime quarter midget supporter, produces great racing programs.

Home of the Capitol Quarter Midget Association, the race track includes a 1/20 mile dirt racing surface, permanent timing and scoring tower and snack bar, permanent restrooms, shaded spectator stands and a large pit area.

Races are held approximately twice a month during racing season, which runs from March through November.

CQMA also hosts Region 10 Series Points Races, a California 500 Series Race and an annual Spring Sanction Race, in additon to frequent Club Races.

Training sessions are held on Tuesday evenings at the track throughout the year (weather permitting).

The members all enjoy the family-oriented atmosphere that CQMA promotes. If you happen to be in the area, you can't miss the track..... just listen for the roar of those quarter midget engines and come in and enjoy a day of racing and fun!
