The USAC Honda Dirt Triple Crown Round 2 is now in the books!  Friday was super hot as the USAC Staff gathered to set out sponsor banners at the Phoenixville, PA track.  This track is full of history.  It has been around for some 50 years and boasts big car counts at every event they host.  Sign-In fees are still at just $10 per car for weekly racing! 

The United States Auto Club is pleased to have experienced Montgomery County!  “We loved seeing this track and hosting an event here,” said Kyle McCain, Developmental Director.  “The feature races today at Phoenixville were awesome.  This has to be one of the best dirt Quarter Midget tracks I have ever seen.  The surface is true clay and they have awesome track prep.  Sure wish we had one of these in the Midwest,” said Eric Rankine, Race Director for the weekend.

With over 140 cars in the house for the USAC event, the points are getting very close for the next round – the Mason Dixon Shootout at Hagerstown August 9 – 11.  The Dirt Triple Crown will culminate at the 4 Crown event, at Tony Stewart’s Eldora Track on the Little E surface, September 20 – 22.  The next USAC Honda “Generation Next” event is the Little Hoosier 100 Wild Card Weekend, August 2 – 4, 2013.
